This adorable little cottage stands 5 inches wide, by 6 inches tall, providing the perfect size for any fairy garden, big or small! Whether you’ve just discovered the world of fairies and the fun and exicitement of creating your own fairy garden, or you’re a seasoned fairy garden pro, the Pink Pixie Cottage would be a perfect addition to your fairy garden! Small pebbles and green moss cover all four sides of this solid wood fairy dwelling. The door is made from handcut maple twigs, and a tiny pebble serves as the perfect doorknob to this quaint little cottage. The roof is made of cedar moss and green moss, and part of a dried banana stem creates the sweetest little chimney. There are four windows on this house…one on each side. Hand cut stained glass, made by our local glass shop, which is the oldest in the the United States (Kokomo Opalescent Glass), were used as window panes in this piece. All of the stained glass in my pieces are from Kokomo Opalescent Glass. You cannot find this glass anywhere else in the world! Each window is framed in handcut twigs. The front and back windows are a beautiful soft pink, while the two side windows are a gorgeous warm cream color. The colors were picked specific for this piece, as they add to the interest of this charming cottage, and create the perfect soft glow when the piece is lit. The sweetest part of this little cottage are the beautiful faux pink flowers, which surround the front and sides of the house. A small bunch of these same pink flowers were placed above the front window for an extra touch of beauty. This piece does come with your choice of a battery operated LED tealight, or a corded light with a switch and a 6 foot cord. I have recently added the option to choose the battery operated LED lights, which provide a much softer, subtle glow, and with no cord to fuss with, they are ideal for fairy gardens! The Pink Pixie Cottage is full of charm and detail, and is a must have for any fairy garden! All materials used in my pieces are recycled and eco friendly. No plants or trees were harmed in making any of my products.**Please note that all items are made to order, handmade with natural items. No two houses will be exactly the same. They will be very similiar. Please email me with any questions or custom orders. Thank you!
About Jen5601
Hello, my name is Jen and I am FINALLY making my way onto the world wide web to share all my fun creations with the public! I have been extremely creative my entire life, and I couldn't think of anything I'd rather be doing than creating new things...no matter what they are! While I do all things in life creatively, I am starting my business debut with all the new rage...all things fairy! I stumbled into the fairy world unexpectedly, through my mother who asked for my help in creating her fairy garden. I realized then, that this would be a new venue for me and the possibilities to creatively thrive in the fairy world were endless. After leaving my mother's house that day, I began working on my first fairy house...and from that moment, I was hooked! I am ALWAYS working on some sort of creative project. I am constantly coming up with new ideas and making those ideas art for the world to enjoy. Nothing brings me greater joy and peace than being able to express myself creatively. Everything I create is 100% HANDMADE, and ALL materials I use are recycled and eco-friendly. I pride myself on my creative ideas, and stories behind them, as well as the quality of my products and craftsmanship. I would never sell something I wouldn't purchase myself. I price my pieces very reasonably so ANYONE and EVERYONE can enjoy them. If you are someone who loves all things fairy...and are looking for something unique (or even custom made), this is the shop for you! I will be posting more new pieces soon!
